3-8-2013 Day 62 At Sea

A regular sea day except for some big swells for most of the P1080848morning.  This is what we saw outside our cabin window – the waves were larger than how they appear here.  It was also really windy in the morning so walking the deck was almost impossible.  It quieted down by the afternoon.  I took advantage of that and spent a little time out in a deck chair reading.  It is the first time I’ve done that in a while and it felt great.  Decided to just skip a lot of the ship’s activities for a change!  We passed lots of land/islands today on our way to Manila.  It was a scenic day.

At dinner we had complimentary champagne because it was International Women’s Day.  Had no idea there was such a day, but enjoyed the benefits of it!

I think we were both a bit tired after such a busy day yesterday, so we went to bed early and enjoyed a “do nothing” day.
